Battery operated gantry style hoist suitable for bariatric use. Optional model with traversing rail. Range of slings, and stretcher unit available.
Freestanding Transportable Bariatric System Recently, there has been a dramatic increase in the need for patient lifts for very heavy patients. With a lifting capacity of up to 1100 lbs. (500 kg), the freestanding system UltraTwin FreeSpan meets the highest demands. UltraTwin FreeSpan is a freestanding system, and since it is not affixed to the walls or the ceiling, there are no special strength requirements for those structures. The system is available in a range of different rail lengths for optimal adaptation to the size of the room. Thanks to a system with twin lift units that work together, UltraTwin not only lifts and transfers, it also helps you to position the patient in sitting, semi-reclining or horizontal positions. UltraTwin can be installed with two different spacings between rails: one for lifting in the sitting position and one for horizontal lifts. Lifting very heavy people requires special techniques and specially designed lift equipment. Our heavy-lifting accessories are available in several different models, all designed for lifting up to 1100 lbs. (500 kg.) UltraTwin FreeSpan is also available in a traverse version, enabling coverage of the entire area of the room with a single lift system. Contact us for more information.
